City of Gold Coast donation to St. John’s Crisis Centre provides new kitchen equipment

In September 2020, the City of Gold Coast provided a donation of $4,544 to St. John’s Crisis Centre to purchase much needed kitchen equipment.  The newly purchased kitchen equipment is used daily at the Crisis Centre to prepare meals as part of the Lunch Service Program.

The St. John’s Crisis Centre Lunch Service Program supplies over 19,000 meals each year.  The service is free and provides each person with a cooked meal, drink, sandwiches, fruit, and snack.  This program is fully funded by kind donations such as ones provided by the City of Gold Coast.

Take a look at Our Programs page to find out more about this program and others we provide at St. John’s Crisis Centre.  If you’re interested in donating to these programs, please visit the Donation page.
