St. John’s Crisis Centre is a not-for-profit organisation and relies heavily on volunteers to support the work we do every day. There are around 90 volunteers, supported by a small number of paid and part-time staff.
Staff and volunteers manage the day to day operation of the Welfare Office, Drop-In Centre as well as the administration, finance, and governance across the organisation.
Working in an often confronting and challenging environment, our volunteers are a phenomenal source of passion and inspiration for the organisation. There are as many life-changing stories of volunteers being involved with St. John’s as there are the clients whose lives we impact.
