About

Our Vision

To be recognised as a professional, highly respected, and relevant Community Association supporting the homeless and less fortunate members of our community.

We will show leadership through providing relevance, benefits, and services that enable the community “to have a strong hand up” when needed.

To achieve this, we work closely with Government bodies. St John’s Crisis Centre will be accountable to ensure good governance and strong processes.

Our Mission

St John’s Crisis Centre provides services for the community that recognise the dignity of the individual and which are centred on Christian Values.

  • Counselling to those who need safe and affordable shelter
  • Encourage client independence of the Crisis Centre
  • Maximize donations through the use of volunteers wherever possible
  • Provide food to those in urgent need

“I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the volunteers (especially Gareth), admin, and the generous donor who contributed financially with the Christmas cash, 2019… Words alone are not enough to show the extent of my appreciation.” Quote from client. “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the volunteers (especially Gareth), admin, and the generous donor who contributed financially with the Christmas cash, 2019… Words alone are not enough to show the extent of my appreciation.”
