Volunteer of the year 2021

Our president Diann Eadeh has been awarded the title of “volunteer of the year” for 2021 by Volunteering Gold Coast.

“Volunteer of the Year acknowledges an individual who has made a significant contribution through their volunteer efforts and exemplifies what the power of volunteerism can have on the wider community.” – Volunteering Gold Coast

Diann is an integral part the Crisis Centre where she has been volunteering since 2015, cooking and serving breakfast to the homeless and people in crisis.

During the covid19 pandemic, Diann ensured the office could continue to help people in crisis by changing face to face interviews to telephone, creating a seamless transition. Assisting over 5,500 people.
